Merrill Lynch Investment Bank Turkey CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and General Manager

Kubilay Cinemre, after six years at Turkey's Garanti Bank as Executive Vice President in charge of Treasury & Investment Banking, rejoined Merrill Lynch as head of its global markets and investment banking business in Turkey in April 2006. Previous to his position at Garanti Bank, he was the Director of Debt Markets at Merrill Lynch London. He started his career at Interbank in 1987 and worked in managerial positions at various private sector banks afterwards. A graduate of Bogazici University, Istanbul with a B.A. in Economics, Cinemre received his M.A. in Economics from the same school in 1990. He is married with one child.
