Capital Markets Board, Legal Expert
Graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Law in 1996. After having qualified as a lawyer at Ankara Bar Association, she has started working at the Legal Affairs Department of Capital Markets Board as an assistant legal expert in 1998 and has worked for this department until 2003. Currently, she has been working for the European Union Affairs Group as a legal expert and besides for the CMB Corporate Governance Working Group. In 2004-2005 she has attended “basic” and “specialist” certificate programmes regarding the EU institutions and policies at the Ankara University European Union Research Center. Also in 2005 within the scholarship programme launched by the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth Office she was awarded with the postgraduate certificate in “Contemporary European Studies” at European Research Institute of University of Birmingham. She is involved with preparation of draft legislation regarding financial services and company law chapters of the EU Acquis and also improvement of CMB Corporate Governance principles. |
