Taliye Yesilurdu works in the Institutional Investors Department of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey (CMB) where she manages the regulation and supervision of investment funds, venture capital investment trusts, private pension funds, real estate investment trusts and asset management companies.

She is currently working on a European Union Compliance Twinning Project to make Turkish legislation fully in compliance with European Union capital markets' Standards and Directives. She has a key role in drafting legislation in the area of investment funds and their management companies, has prepared written reports on hedge funds and has drafted legislation for the establishment of hedge funds in Turkey.

Taliye holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and completed a certificate program in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.
