Turan EROL Ph.D.

Acting Chairman, Capital Markets Board of Turkey

EROL was born in 1961 in Trabzon (Akçaabat). He had B.Sc. in economics in 1985, had M.Sc. in 1989 and lastly received Ph.D. degree in 1996 from Erasmus University in Holland.

Before February 2003, the date he assigned to the Capital Markets Board of Turkey as a board member, he was associate professor in Başkent University in Ankara.

EROL is married and has two children. He speaks English. He had lots of academic publications both in Turkey and abroad in the field of economics and finance.
