She was born in Ankara in 1979. She graduated from Business Administration Department of Middle East Technical University, Ankara in 2001. Also, she holds a minor degree from Economics Department of Middle East Technical University in the field of International Economics. She worked at Arthur Andersen as an assistant auditor during 2001 & 2002. She started working as an assistant expert in Capital Markets Board of Turkey in 2003 and still works in the Corporate Finance Department as an expert. She is also working as a member of CMB's Corporate Governance Working Group. Within the Twinning Project, she has worked for harmonization of Turkish capital markets legislation in line with the EU acquis related to transparency.
